Inspired by the 1990 album art “Fear of a Black Planet” by Public Enemy (Fight the Power), the refreshed BWATF logo references the iconography from the album which also sought out to critique white supremacy, institutional racism + the power elite through its lyrics. In this same spirit, the goal of this collection aims to push against these forces by reimagining what a world led by Black women could be if we embraced that they are the future.
